I remember bicycling this hill with Lee and Wayne on a sunny warm day in January when I was out on an interview trip in the '70s. The park was a working gravel pit back then and for decades more.

I entered Sexton Mountain Park from Murray Boulevard thinking the two parks were one in the same. I had to wind around on hill-top residential streets before I found my destination.
