I stopped half-way up this asphalt trail to enjoy the view to the west from the well-placed bench. I couldn't get pedaling momentum continuing uphill so I rode back down and did the climb in one go.

I had avoided the top of the hill on my first pandemic visit because there were too many people. The air temperature hit 107 degrees when Nick and Kavita visited so I suggested we would have the place to ourselves.
